Filipinos value education to the highest level that some parents in the rural areas sell their lands and property just to send their children to the university. Some of these children will not even reach the high school level because the majority will not even finished the elementary.
This is where your generous donation will come in to create a profound change in these children's lives. A donation of $120 (bursary) for one student in one school year will help them get a decent school supplies and school allowance. The $120 educational bursary will be given to a qualified student of poor families before the beginning of the school year. It will be awarded on the basis of financial needs and not on the merit of academic achievements.
The Bursary will be name after the donor's name (or any other name of the donor's choosing). A donor can sponsor more than one student in one school year. Tax receipt will provided for all donation originating in Canada.
